Sales Development Representative (SDR) (Open for remote globally)

Summary: The Enterprise Sales Development Representative (ESDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads for enterprise clients of the company’s B2B edtech solutions through cold calls and emails or messages. The ESDR will work closely with the CEO and Line Manager to develop and execute a lead generation strategy, identify and contact potential clients, schedule and conduct discovery calls, and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate a minimum of 6 Enterprise Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) per month (definition below).
  • Identify and contact potential enterprise clients through a variety of channels, including cold calling, email marketing, and social media
  • Research and qualify leads based on the target ICPs to ensure that they are a good fit for the company’s products and services
  • Schedule and conduct discovery calls with qualified leads to learn more about their needs and challenges
  • Nurture leads through the sales pipeline by providing them with valuable information and resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing clients
  • Keep the Line Manager updated on the status of all leads and opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a B2B Enterprise SAAS business development or sales role
  • Strong understanding of the B2B SAAS sales process
  • Experienced in cold calling and sending personalized emails
  • Experience in scheduling and conducting discovery calls
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
Familiarity with the following types of software is a plus:
  • CRM software
  • Prospecting software
  • Sales engagement software
  • Marketing automation software
  • LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Number of cold personalized emails sent: 20-40/day
  • Number of cold calls completed: 50-100/day
  • Number of Enterprise SQLs generated per month: 6/month
Bonus Structure:The ESDR will be eligible for monthly bonuses based on their performance against the following KPIs:
  • US $150 per SQL above the target 6 SQLs. Uncapped.
SQL Definition:
  1. Potential for at least US $100K+ ACV
  2. There is a clearly defined high priority need/challenge that can be resolved by OOOLAB in the short term (> 3 months)
  3. Prospect is someone who can influence the decision — decision maker or champion
  4. BDMs move the lead to their pipeline
